During the consultation, the doctor reviews the medical history, co-existing conditions, previous weight loss attempts, lab results, and potential contraindications to various weight management methods. If necessary, the patient may be recommended for additional laboratory testing, consultation with a related specialist, or an individual monitoring plan.
