About the procedure
GentleMax Pro Plus is a premium multifunctional laser platform by Candela Medical that combines two wavelengths:
- 755 nm Alexandrite laser — effectively targets melanin and is therefore used for unwanted hair removal and the correction of benign pigmentation.
- 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser — penetrates deeper into the tissues and is suitable for treating darker skin phototypes, vascular lesions, and signs of skin aging.
By combining these two technologies, the system can treat all skin phototypes according to the Fitzpatrick scale. A maximum spot size of up to 26 mm allows large areas to be treated quickly, while a short pulse duration starting from 2 ms enables effective treatment of even fine hair.
The patented DCD™ dynamic cooling system delivers a short burst of cryogen immediately before the laser pulse. This helps protect the skin’s surface and makes the procedure more comfortable.
GentleMax Pro Plus is used for laser hair removal, the correction of vascular and pigmented lesions, reduction of skin redness, and laser skin rejuvenation.
